Napoleon Hill – Success Principal #13 – Cosmic Habit Force

December 2nd, 2009 10 comments

I have been writing, lately, about the difference in how successful people think.  I have stated over and over again that they are wired differently.  They think differently.  Spending time with Napoleon Hill’s Success Principals has, probably, been more beneficial to me than to you.  I can’t express to you how much I have enjoyed listening to Napoleon Hill’s video series.  Because of this time I have spent listening to him, his writings have come alive for me.  I know his speech patterns, his voice, and the way he looks.  Now, as I am reading his book it is as if he is reading it to me.  It makes it more real for me.  I can see how Bob Proctor has spent his life studying “Think and Grow Rich”.  It never grows old.  I have always been a reader, but I read something and then go on to the next.  I know, now, that the goal of reading and studying “Think and Grow Rich” daily will keep me focused on the proper “Cosmic Habit Force”.

I believe, we all absorb information in our own way and time frame.  We have to fertilize the soil in our minds for it to be ready to accept the seeds of knowledge so it can mature and bear fruit.  What is fertilizer?  Yep, it is crap. Often times, it is the crap in our life that gives us the contrast to know what we want.  It is the crap that gives us the fuel to desire change and to escape the negative things that we attracted into our lives.  I have had many “aha” moments lately.  That is why, I believe, a habit of self improvement is so important to our growth in life.  It can, truly, enrich our life’s journey!

Today’s 10 minute video is the last in this series.  This one brings it all together as Napoleon Hill talks about Cosmic Habit Force. I have had my times of being locked into hypnotic rhythm.  Have you?  It was a prison cell of my own making. But, unlike other prison cells, I have been the one, standing there with the key to mine in my hand the entire time.

We are the only ones that can open those prison cells we create in our lives and fly to the destinations of our choice by using the natural law of Cosmic Habit Force.  It takes self discipline to watch and manage our thoughts.  Only self discipline can keep us out of the clutches of hypnotic rhythm.

I hope you have enjoyed this video series as much as I have.  If you feel so inclined, leave me a comment.  It would be wonderful to hear your feedback.  If you think that your network of “peeps” would enjoy it feel free to pass this blog around!  🙂

Bob Proctor – Secret to Success – Part 2

November 23rd, 2009 5 comments

People who get involved with self improvement, usually, have one of two motivations.  The first motivation is from a feeling of lack.  Pursuing self improvement because they feel they are broken.  They will do anything to “get better” not realizing that they really aren’t in need of repair.  This is the hard road to success, because the road is strewn with the ideas of gurus that want their followers’ devotion.  They believe that we can “find ourselves” by doing incredible strange and harmful things…to “be worthy”.  It  can lead to sweat lodges of death and walking across pits of fire.  Are those things really necessary to “improve”?  What do they prove?  Could it be the gurus feel they need to have us prove something to be worthy of their time?  Perhaps, egos have gone astray and their need for some hero worship could be involved?

OK, now that I have annoyed some of you, it is time to bring up the second motivation for self improvement.  Some of us want more, and the way to get more is to know more.  It has often been said we are a product of our present knowledge and understanding.  If you know what you want, and have the desire to achieve it, find someone that has already accomplished what you want and study and model them.  Finding a coach or mentor can be a faster road to the success you want to achieve.  You can build on a level of achievement you already possess and with personal guidance go beyond to achieve more.

One of the reasons that I like Bob Proctor so much is because he comes to us with ideas of how to improve our lives, not “fix” our lives.  He believes each of us can attain the level of success, of our choosing, if we can define what it is we desire.  He gives lots of free coaching and information because he is a giver.  He encourages all of us to give freely because, “givers gain”.  Do yourself a favor, check out his site and cash in on the free information and “tasters” he has available.  If you are looking for a mentor and coach he, also, has that service available.

Now, here’s part 2 of his “Secret to Success” videos.  Watch for the 3 steps to success.  Don’t forget to pass it on to those that would enjoy it.  🙂

Bob Proctor – Secret to Success – Part 1

November 22nd, 2009 No comments

What is the secret to success?  Why do some people seem to flourish and live successful lives while others struggle?  Bob Proctor has a great series of videos that answers those questions.

Today is the beginning of “Thanksgiving Week”.  Most of us will be sitting down to a satiating meal with family and friends on Thursday.  It will be the time to ponder and show gratitude for all the things in our lives that we are thankful for.  Our son, who is in the Marine Corp will be home for the first time in 5 years.  I can’t tell you how grateful and happy I am about that!  Our family will be together for the first time on Thanksgiving since he went into the Corp.  I have to say that I am a blessed woman, for that reason and for a million other reasons.

I want to make this week special for you.  I have some super duper videos lined up for this week.  I am excited to get them to you.  Be sure to check back through out the week.

Today’s video is part 1 of 2 of a new Bob Proctor series called “Secret to Success”.   If you enjoy it and you think your “peeps” would like it, also, feel free to pass it on. 🙂

Don’t forget to check out Bob’s “six minutes to success” daily coaching sessions.  He is giving one full week for free to see if it is a proper fit for you.  Click here to find out more!

Bob Proctor – The Paradigm Shift – Part 3

November 14th, 2009 No comments

You have probably heard the old saying “today is the first day of the rest of your life”.  We could say that about every day.  When are you going to decide that today is the day for a change in your life?   Are you ready for a paradigm shift towards your success?

We are all striving for a successful life.  Do you know what a successful life means to you?  How do you know when you are on the right track?  Do you have a “definite major purpose” as Napoleon Hill would say?  Do you know what you want your life to look like and how to get there?  Most don’t.

You will be pleased today with the weekend special.  Today’s video is part 3 of Bob Proctor’s Paradigm Shift series.  It is a little over 9 minutes long.  He really gets into the nuts and bolts of how to go about creating the life by your design.  Do yourself a favor.  Follow what he says to do.  It will give you that clear mental picture you need to create your ideal life.

Bob Proctor has a way of making everything very crystal clear.  How would your life be different if he was mentoring you?   Here’s a link you can sign up for his inspirational messages to be sent to your email every day for free.  Check it out here.

Enjoy the video and don’t forget to re-tweet if you like it!  Life is good!
