How Do I See With My Mind’s Eye?

eye-of-god1I have had such a feeling of synchronicity the last few days.  When this happens to me, I feel I need to pay attention.  A lesson is presenting itself to me.  The synchronicity I keep hearing refers to “our mind’s eye”.

I listen to and read a lot of information on self improvement every day.  In the past week, I have heard several speakers use the term, “seeing with your mind’s eye”.  One speaker said that we have our physical eyes in which we see so-called “reality” and we, also, see with our mind’s eye.  What does that conjure up in your mind when I say your mind’s eye? Do you see a big eyeball in the middle of your brain?  That would be very Halloween-ish.  I believe our mind’s eye is that space in our minds where we keep our vision for our lives.  It is for the things we desire, or habitually think about.  If you can’t see what you want in that space, you can’t have it.

I was watching a video of Bob Proctor’s called the “Paradigm Shift”.    He said we have to, “figure out what we want to do and then get rid of the monkeys in our minds.”  The monkeys being the thoughts of lack and non belief among others.  He also said we need to “create a space in our minds for what we desire.”  If we fill our mind’ eye with horrific images of what we don’t want, what do you suppose is going to happen in our lives?  What you focus on grows.

I am a fan of “Dog Whisperer” with Cesar Milan.  I love animals.  My favorite is dogs.  They can be the perfect example of unconditional love, devotion, and loyalty.  A dog doesn’t care what you look like, how much money you make, or if you’ve made mistakes in your life.  They just love you for you.

Friday night, I was burrowed in on my couch with my dog, Frank, watching Cesar.  He had invited two people to his new “Dog Psychology Center” to visit their dog he was working with.  One of the people commented that the “center” would be great when it was all finished.  Cesar said, “In my mind it is already done.”  Cesear could see the completion of his dream in his mind’s eye as if it already done.

Our mind’s eye is a place that exists in all of us and is unique to each one of us.  We choose what we fill that space with.  It can be images of failure or it can be a vision of success.  That space has a direct feed into our subconscious mind.  As John Kehoe, author of Mind Power Into the 21st Century, says, “The mandate of the subconscious is to attract circumstances and situations that match the images you have within.”

What do you see when you use your mind’s eye?  Is it clear?  Is it something that you want to actually manifest in your life?  If you are holding a picture of what you want to happen in your life, do you see it as it has already happened?

I have a great article from John Kehoe that I encourage you to read.  It is full of great information on how our mind works with our subconscious.  It is called, “The Subconscious and Synchronicity“.

I hope that you got a lot of out of my blog article today.  If you liked it please retweet.
